Mims is an open-field runner and deep threat that Sean Payton needed to create a role that would lead to mismatches. Otherwise, Mims hasn't proven that he can operate as a standalone receiving weapon who can beat NFL CBs, man-to-man.
Think of Mims as a big-play merchant who needs a lot of help to earn fantasy value. He'll have some value for the Broncos as small part of the game plan. Unless the Broncos suffer multiple injuries to its receiving corps, Mims isn't a viable option.
